FEATURE FILM ULTRASONIC BRINGS NATIONAL ATTENTION TO
DC FILMMAKING SCENE
Washington, DC – From filmmaker Rohit Colin Rao and distributor Garden Thieves Pictures comes Ultrasonic, set to debut on June 1st at the West End Cinema in Washington, D.C. Additional screenings throughout the month are scheduled in 10 markets including Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco, and Miami. The film will also be available on Comcast Video on Demand Nationwide as a “same day as theaters rental”. The first feature-length film from Rohit Colin Rao, Ultrasonic is the recipient of Best in Fest honors at the 2012 DC Independent Film Festival. Rao, DC-suburban resident shot the film entirely in and around DC with all local talent.
Ultrasonic tells the tale of a Washington, D.C. musician with hyper-sensitive hearing who goes in search of an ominous sound that plagues him, but is inaudible to everyone else.
